Inspired by a café called Pinky Murphy's in Fowey, Cornwall (where they do the best scrambled eggs).
The café is beautifully decorated and none of the chairs, cups or teapots match. I borrowed a few of their cups and made two paintings which I hope capture the essence of the many eclectic, slightly bonkers, cafés to be found in Cornwall.
