Herbs with Blue Pots

I collect cups, saucers and vases as memories of places I have visited. This painting came about on a summers day, when the smell of rosemary outside my studio was fantastic.. I used text from an old readers digest book to reference each herb, and collected the herbs from my garden. Several of the pots were bought in Cornwall, some are antique and notably the tall blue one is made by a potter called Robert who sells his beautiful ceramics in White Doll Arts, Fowey.
